GLE was subcontracted by Winslow Infrastructure to construct the drainage infrastructure for the RBR Business Park development. The scope included the installation of reinforced concrete drainage pipes ranging from DN300 to DN1800, with depths reaching up to 5 metres through challenging hard rock ground conditions. A key component involved the construction of 500 metres of triple-cell 900 mm drainage culverts installed at depths of up to 4.5 metres. Additionally, four large in-situ concrete pits were constructed at the project’s conclusion to facilitate future development and unlock neighbouring land parcels. GLE’s expertise in deep excavation, rock breaking, and complex drainage installation under difficult geotechnical conditions was critical to the successful delivery of this essential infrastructure within tight project timelines.
